Thanks for visiting!Ms. Washington Senior was created to enrich the lives of seniors who are the foundation of America. They are inspiring role models and showcase a positive image of aging. The selection process is open to women 60 years and older who are married, single or widowed. Each year a new Ms. Washington Senior is chosen from the most compelling letter received describing why she should be chosen and what platform she would like to share with others.
Ms. Washington Senior 2010 is Theresa Forster of Ephrata. Theresa started the program "Good Samaritan Ministry" at the St. Rose Catholic Church in Ephrata. She finds people who are in need of help and matchs them up with people who want to help. The organization will deliver food, take people for walks, make house visits, home repairs,yard work, transportation and deliver food. For help contact Theresa at 754.4435.
